Bob began doing business in 1998 as an independent AMSOIL dealership Jp Vehicle Outfitters, in Tacoma, Washington.   Jp Vehicle Outfitters is growing; we continue to offer AMSOIL products along with an expanded inventory of high quality environmentally responsible automotive and related products.  Bob developed his extensive knowledge of automotive maintenance requirements over 38 years of continuous experience in the automotive service and repair industry.  In addition, his experience with the requirements/needs of off-road enthusiasts (2/4 wheel of all sizes/types, boats too!) grew substantially during the same time period.

In 1972, Bob went to work on the lube rack of a Colorado Springs automobile dealership, Owen Faricy Motor Company, from there he worked up through the ranks with other businesses.  He quickly gained skill and experience as a line mechanic in heavy duty truck and equipment repair moving to shop foreman positions and on to management positions.

During the past 14 years, Bob managed Automotive and Aviation component overhaul programs/facilities at various locations around the world.

Currently, Bob manages 4 such automotive component overhaul facilities located in Colorado, Kansas and Oregon with a total volume of parts and labor in excess of 42 million dollars a year.

With all of Bob’s current weekday professional responsibilities, he looks forward to answering your questions, sharing his experience and providing you the service and advice you expect.  Bob is available by phone from 4 - 8 PM Mountain Time on weekdays and almost any time on weekends & holidays.

Bob is a volunteer trail guide for the Ouray, Colorado and Moab, Utah Jeep Jamboree events with many such experiences to his credit.
